An experimenter since the beginning of his career, Franco Donaggio has successfully transformed the photographic medium into a territory of spiritual vision. His work does not pursue the decisive moment, but its metamorphosis: it transcends the limits of technique, bending photography to dreamlike and imaginative intents. All his projects arise as an autonomous universe where constructivist rigor and surreal intuition merge. Rejecting any seriality, his images — the fruit of meticulous planning — expand emotions that transcend reality. Present in prestigious public and private collections and honoured with numerous lifetime achievement awards and recognitions, Donaggio has exhibited in museums, galleries, and major international art events in Europe, Russia and Northern America.
